Dasha has been immersed in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since childhood. Her mother, a practitioner of Chinese medicine, introduced her to its healing principles early on, first in Ukraine and later in Argentina.
Before pursuing a career in acupuncture, Dasha earned a Business Management diploma from SAIT in 2014. After several years in the business world, she followed her passion for holistic wellness, becoming a certified yoga instructor. Over the past decade, she has taught various styles of yoga across Calgary, helping individuals improve their physical and mental well-being.
In 2021, Dasha took the next step in her journey by returning to school to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and TCM. After three years of intensive full-time study at the Calgary College of Acupuncture and TCM, she earned her title and license to practice safely in Alberta. Her studies covered a wide range of disciplines, including:
- TCM foundations & diagnosis
- Chinese herbal medicine
- Gynecology & pediatrics
- Sports medicine & injury recovery
- Dermatology & facial rejuvenation
- Mental health & emotional balance
With over 600 hours of supervised clinical training, Dasha gained hands-on experience treating patients at the college under the guidance of experienced doctors. Additionally, she trained alongside her mother, further deepening her knowledge and expertise.
Dasha’s integrative approach combines her background as a yoga teacher with her expertise in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, allowing her to provide personalized, holistic treatments tailored to each patient’s unique health concerns. Whether addressing chronic pain, stress, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, or musculoskeletal injuries, her goal is to help patients achieve optimal well-being through natural healing.
Outside of work, Dasha enjoys baking for family and friends, attending hot yoga classes, working out in her home gym, and exploring books on wellness and self-empowerment. Some of her favorite reads include Atomic Habits, The Spark in the Machine, and The Alchemist.
